For organizations considering cloud-ready enterprise storage and backup within an AWS environment, the plugin provides a centralized tool to optimize backup performance monitoring while automating reporting on data protection.
This latest plugin adds reporting for AWS native snapshot protection of Amazon RDS database instances across instance types and availability zones, with reporting on Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS) occupancy slated for an upcoming release. This newest reporting plugin follows recent announcements regarding reporting on Amazon EC2, Azure Cloud Backup and native cloud backup solutions developed by Druva, Cohesity, and Rubrik, extending Bocada’s leadership in data protection oversight across hybrid-cloud environments.
